Email Classes
"My heart opened more to the loving and my commitment to Spirit deepened. I also had invaluable insights about myself and how I relate to others. I feel too that my desire at the outset to be gentler with myself and others has progressed."
"The email interaction with the facilitator and fellow students brought a feeling of peace, loving and sharing that I did not think was possible to experience through electronic media."

Event Description
"When you're dealing with spiritual things, you need to get to the Spirit. We teach you a scientific, repeatable approach - called spiritual exercises - of how to keep getting into the Spirit."
- from Walking With the Lord, by John-Roger
This is one of the most important classes of Peace Theological Seminary (PTS). Spiritual exercises are a gift that enables one to connect with God. In this class, students work on creating the loving attitude and time to spend with Spirit each day. Through the consistency of the weekly meetings of the class, students have the opportunity to track their individual progress and to support one another as they grow in their devotional practices. Open to both Discourse subscribers and students new to MSIA.
Prerequisite:
None, open to everyone.

CONFIDENTIALITY GROUNDRULES
Email and Chatroom classes sponsored by the Peace Theological Seminary (PTS) present the spiritual teachings of MSIA in an educational format. To maintain the integrity of the class and confidentiality for the participants we ask you to agree to the following:
* Share your experience only. Don't share other people's experiences with anyone in the class or out. This helps create a sense of safety so that we can share from a deep place with one another.
* Don't approach other people about their sharing. This means that after someone shares in the class, don't approach or email them to discuss their sharing or *offer advice* about their sharing. Many times when someone shares in the a class, they can let go of the situation or circumstance they shared about. If you approach them to discuss their sharing, the experience can be brought back to them to deal with all over again.
* We ask that you not share the content of the class with people not in the class. This keeps the class within the context it was meant to be presented. Sharing content out of context can lead to misunderstanding, incomplete information, and misuse of the material.
* We encourage you to share your experience of the class, that is; your learning and your awareness. You can do this without divulging other people's experiences or class content by keeping your language focused on yourself and your experience.
* During the class, you will be given the email addresses of the other students taking the class. These addresses are to be used for the purpose of the class, ONLY. Please respect the privacy of your classmates and do not use their addresses for solicitation. At the completion of the class, delete their addresses from your computer, unless you have permission from them to use their address.
* For the duration of each class, please do NOT forward internet mail, such as virus warnings or inspirational pieces to class members. The reason for this is to reduce the amount of class mail.
* To protect the privacy of all students, our preference is that students use personal email over their work email account. Using free email services such as HOTMAIL or YAHOO for the class is one option. If you must use your work email account, after completing a class session, you may save your emails to a floppy disk in case you need to resend them or if you want to review your work later. Then hard delete any emails regarding the class from your work computer.
While PTS asks that people respect each other's privacy, we are not responsible for anyone who violates the guidelines.
* All rights to use and or reproduce the class materials are reserved by PTS. Please do not reproduce this material for any purposes other than doing the class assignments without the express written consent of PTS. This includes ANY type of distribution, such as electronic mail, printed mail or otherwise.
I agree not to utilize or reproduce PTS materials without PTS' permission except for the purpose of participating in the class as described above.
I agree to abide by both the confidentiality and copyright statements above.
